Apresentam-se as etapas desenvolvidas e experiências advindas da implantação do projeto, discutindo as limitações e potencialidades encontradas neste processo na biblioteca universitária. Os métodos de elaboração do projeto se constituíram em pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e observação estruturada para coleta dos dados. Como resultado faz-se um comparativo do projeto inicial com as etapas já executadas. Destaca-se a importância da cooperação e engajamento do Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco com demais setores da instituição, voltados às práticas de educação inclusiva, para o andamento e realização das fases do projeto. O projeto encontra-se com algumas etapas realizadas, com obtenção de tecnologias assistivas que possibilitarão a autonomia dos usuários com deficiência no uso dos serviços das bibliotecas. O trabalho está em continuidade em 2018 com planejamento para novas aquisições, treinamentos e capacitações para proporcionar acessibilidade às bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco. Inclusão social. 1675 �Abstract: This communication reports the results obtained in the implementation of the project Accessibilizando: Sibi including the differences elaborated in 2014 by the Library System of the Federal University of the Valley of the São Francisco and exposed initially in the XVIII National Seminar of University Libraries. We present the stages developed and experiences of the implementation of the project, discussing the limitations and potentialities found in this process in the university library. The methods of elaboration of the project were constituted in bibliographical research, documentary and structured observation for data collection. As a result a comparison of the initial project with the steps already performed is made. It is important to highlight the importance of cooperation and engagement of the Library System of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley with other sectors of the institution, focused on inclusive education practices, for the progress and achievement of the project phases. The project has some stages accomplished, with the acquisition of assistive technologies that will allow the autonomy of disabled users in the use of library services. The work is in continuity in 2018 with planning for new acquisitions, trainings and capacities to provide accessibility to the libraries of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley.
