http://repositorio.febab.org.br/files/original/50/5802/SNBU2018_200.pdf defce4f4cd8646ac4ea58df473616835 PDF Text Text Eixo II - Pesquisa e Extensão OS BASTIDORES DA BIBLIOTECA UNIVERSITÁRIA: NÚCLEO DE EDITORAÇÃO THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY'S BACKSTAGE: NÚCLEO DE EDITORAÇÃO MARIA CRISTINA MATOSO JACQUELINE COUTINHO COSTA SERGIO EDUARDO SILVA DE CALDAS Modalidade da Apresentação: Pôster Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o Núcleo de Editoração do Sistema de Bibliotecas e Informação da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas de forma a problematizar as diferentes demandas e funções definidoras dentro de um sistema de informação competente no âmbito universitário, enquanto difusor de conhecimentos. A metodologia empregada constitui a utilização de bibliografia pertinente bem como um mapeamento histórico e produtivo do Núcleo de Editoração, a fim de demonstrar os dados e processos desenvolvidos pelo Setor. Os resultados constituem um importante avanço na área da Biblioteconomia bem como da Ciência da Informação com a implantação de métodos e procedimentos que permitiram ganhos visíveis tanto para a própria Universidade como para o meio acadêmico. Tanto a indexação como a criação de bases de informação como o Portal de Periódicos Científicos são sugestivos quanto à importância do cuidado com a informação produzida no âmbito acadêmico. Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the Editorial Center of the Libraries and Information System of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Campinas in order to discuss the different demands and defining roles within a competent information system in the University context, as well as a knowledge diffuser. The methodology employed comprises the use of a pertinent bibliography, as well as a historical and productive mapping of the Editorial Center, in order to demonstrate the data and processes developed by the Sector. The results comprise an important progress in the Library Science area, as well as the Information Science, with the implementation of methods and procedures that allowed visible gains, both for the very University and the academic community. Both the indexation and the creation of information data base such as the Journals Website are suggestive as for the importance of the care about the information produced in the academic environment.
