O curso tem como objetivo capacitar bibliotecários e auxiliares para desenvolver atividades de animação e ação cultural nos ambientes da biblioteca, dessa forma, atrair mais frequentadores e comunidades em geral para o âmbito da biblioteca tornando-os seres ativos e críticos. Abstract: The text reports the extension activity of cultural action that happens in the Central Library Julieta Carteado of the Integrated System of Libraries of the State University of Feira de Santana which is the Course of Dynamization of Libraries and describes the steps of how it began to be implanted and ministered in the library. The purpose of the course is to enable librarians and assistants to develop activities of animation and cultural action in the library environments, thereby attracting more frequenters and communities in general to the library, making them active and critical beings.
