Essas experiências incluem co acadêmico por meio de oficinas de uso do sistema da biblioteca, acesso à base de dados especializada com vistas a contribuir com o acesso ao conhecimento e programas dos PPCs, bem como atendimento à comunidade regional no que se refere à formação de bibliotecas comunitárias junto às comunidades rurais e de pescadores. Tais atividades e ações buscam promover a cidadania, a democratização do conhecimento e a promoção da leitura. Abstract: This study reports the experience of developing social and cultural activities in the Library System of Libraries, Federal University of Paraná. Cultural and educational interventions such as "Cultural Cafe", academic attendance through library system use workshops, access to the specialized database aiming to contribute to the access to knowledge and PPC programs, as well as serving the regional community in which refers to the formation of community libraries in rural and fisher communities. Activities and actions that seek to promote citizenship, the democratization of knowledge and the promotion of reading.
