Assim, os objetivos consistem em analisar, no ambiente da Biblioteca Universitária, as dinâmicas gerenciais relativas às questões de criação, uso e compartilhamento de informações. Quanto aos objetivos, a pesquisa classifica-se como do tipo exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa. O procedimento técnico adotado constitui-se de pesquisa bibliográfica. Em relação à fundamentação teórica, elegeu-se como modelo o Ciclo do Conhecimento Organizacional proposto por Choo. Na interpretação dos dados obtidos, usufruiu-se do conjunto de técnicas de análise de conteúdo elaborado por Bardin. As categorias analíticas estabelecem-se em necessidade, busca e uso da informação gerencial por parte do sujeito organizacional. O percurso metodológico traduz-se na revisão da literatura dos trabalhos dedicados à gestão da informação em organizações, com enfoque em bibliotecas. Os resultados de pesquisa convergem para o alinhamento entre a gestão da informação modelada por Choo e o gerenciamento de bibliotecas universitárias. Essa interligação é possível por meio do uso racional dos recursos existentes nas bibliotecas universitárias, além da ressignificação das competências do bibliotecário-gerente. Em face disto, concluiu-se que a administração da informação, no modelo do Ciclo do Conhecimento Organizacional, possibilita subsídios às ações que interfiram de modo prático, inovador e criativo, nas práticas gerenciais do bibliotecário e no desenvolvimento de produtos e serviços da biblioteca universitária. Abstract: The work intends to cooperate with the development of the theme Administration of University Libraries and Information Management. Thus, the objectives are to analyze, in the environment of the University Library, the managerial dynamics related to the issues of creation, use and sharing of information. Regarding the objectives, the research is classified as exploratory and with a qualitative approach. The technical procedure adopted is a bibliographical research. In relation to the theoretical foundation, the Organizational Knowledge Cycle proposed by Choo was chosen as the model. The interpretation of the data obtained utilized the set of techniques of analysis of content elaborated by Bardin. The analytical categories are established in the need, search and use of managerial information by the organizational subject. The methodological course is translated in the literature review of the works dedicated to information management in organizations, with a focus on libraries. The search results converge to the alignment between information management modeled by Choo and the management of university libraries. This interconnection is possible through the rational use of resources in university libraries, as well as the re-signification of the skills of the librarianmanager. In the face of this, it was concluded that the administration of information, in the model of the Organizational Knowledge Cycle, allows subsidies to actions that interfere in a practical, innovative and creative way, in the managerial practices of the librarian and in the development of products and services of the university library. �Keywords: Library administration.
