Para isso, o investidor ou pesquisador podem fazer uso de estudos de prospecção tecnológica, onde a análise de patente contribui substancialmente para montar este cenário, tentando evitar possíveis prejuízos em pesquisas e desenvolvimento. Não é possível estudar prospecção tecnológica em patentes sem relaciona-las a Inovação, propriedade intelectual e propriedade industrial, porém tais estudos ainda são incipientes, dada à cultura de inovação em desenvolvimento no país e os poucos investimentos em educação. Abstract: One of the great challenges for Scientific and Technological Institutions and companies is knowing how to invest in research without losses, is to innovate without fear, having as an ally the prediction of future scenario. For this, the investor or researcher can make use of studies of technological prospection, where the analysis of patent contributes substantially to mount this scenario, trying to avoid possible damages in research and development. It is not possible to study technological prospecting in patents without relating them to innovation, intellectual property and industrial property, but these studies are still incipient given the culture of innovation in development in the country and the few investments in education.
