A formação de seus acervos dever obedecer a padrões pré-estabelecidos no que diz respeito a seleção e aquisição de obras, estas devem compor os projetos pedagógicos dos cursos ofertados pela IES, de forma a dar suporte a sua comunidade acadêmica. Por meio de um estudo descritivo de ações aplicadas no SIBI/PUCPR, o documento em questão relata a experiência da implantação do serviço de aquisição on-line no ano de 2017, utilizando o módulo de aquisição do Sistema Pergamum. Como resultado, tornou-se claro que a implantação do serviço online, cumpriu a meta de agilizar e facilitar o processo de aquisição bem como otimização dos recursos da IES. Palavras-chave: Aquisição. Abstract: The main objective of the university library is to meet the information needs of the institution that is inserted to support the faculty, students, researches in teaching, research and extension. The formation of the collections must obey pre-established standards regarding the selection and acquisition of works, these should compose the pedagogical projects of the courses offered by the IES, in order to support its academic community. Through a descriptive study of actions applied in SIBI/PUCPR, the document in question reports the experience of the implementation of the online acquisition service in the year 2017, using the Pergamum System acquisition module. As a result, it became clear that the implementation of the online service, met the goal of streamlining and facilitating the acquisition process as well as optimization of the resources of the IES.
